Andy Carroll: NUFC Hotspot Player Portal

Andy Carroll Newcastle Profile NUFC Hotspot

Carroll earned a reputation as one of England’s finest strikers during his first spell at the club between 2006 and 2011. This caused Liverpool to come swooping in with a £35 million offer to lure the Geordie striker away from St James’ Park.

Carroll spent 3 years with the Merseyside club before joining West Ham where he was frequently plagued with injuries. He then went full circle in his career returning to the North East under Steve Bruce in the summer of 2019.

Carroll’s Best NUFC Moments

Andy Carroll Southampton
Newcastle 2-1 Southampton

Trailing 1-0 at home to Southampton, Andy Carroll put in a sublime cross for Jonjo Shelvey to head home the equaliser. It was the second time in 3 days the duo had combined, following our win away at Sheffield United.

Newcastle 1-0 Crystal Palace

Again, its an assist that makes the list. Against Crystal Palace the Georide striker took up a more natural position inside the box, heading a cross back towards Almiron for the Paraguayan to score his first Newcastle United goal.
