Allan Saint-Maximin: NUFC Hotspot Player Portal

Saint-Maximin Newcastle Profile NUFC Hotspot

Since the departure of Hatem Ben Arfa in 2015, we have been desperate to see a suitable replacement. It seems Allan Saint-Maximin is that man.

Blessed with incredible technical skills, the Frenchman possess the confidence to try daring things on the football pitch. He is the type of flair player we love to see at St James’ Park, offering a sense of unpredictability and excitement.

The tricky winger has not only won hearts on the pitch with his at times, unplayable performances, but also ticks all the boxes off the pitch. Positive interactions with fans, a legitimate connection with the club, and most importantly a sense of pride in the city.

Saint-Maximin’s Best NUFC Moments

Saint Maximin Oxford FA Cup
Oxford United 2-3 Newcastle (AET)

In classic Newcastle United fashion, we made life difficult. Blowing a 2-0 lead in the last 10 minutes against League One, Oxford United, we needed Saint-Maximin to step up in extra time. He certainly did! Helicopter anyone?!

Southampton 0-1 Newcastle

Unknown to us at the time, our trip to St Mary’s in March 2020 was the last football match we could attend for the rest of the year. ASM scored the only goal of the game, essentially securing our place in the Premier League.

Saint-Maximin Bournemouth Newcastle
Bournemouth 1-4 Newcastle

Newcastle United kicked off ‘Project Restart’ in good form, beating Sheffield United 3-0 and drawing 1-1 with Aston Villa. Saint-Maximin was on fire against relegation-threatened Bournemouth, providing a hatrick of assists!

Newcastle 3-1 Burnley

Although Wilson may have earned the majority of plaudits for bagging a brace, Saint-Maximin was in fine form against Burnley. Starting with a great solo goal, he also set up Wilson with a perfect cross for our second.
