Jacob Murphy: NUFC Hotspot Player Portal

Jacob Murphy Newcastle Profile NUFC Hotspot

Jacob Murphy has always been cited as a player with large potential, possessing a strong combination of pace and power.

The winger made his name at Norwich City, a club both him and his twin brother Josh played for since the age of 7. Enjoying a breakthrough season in 2016/17 the former England Under-21 international caught the eye of Rafa Benitez.

Since playing for his boyhood club in the North East, he has endured mixed performances littered with inconsistency. With this in mind Murphy was loaned out to Championship clubs; West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield Wednesday.

Impressing in pre-season of our 2020/21 season, Steve Bruce opted to keep Murphy in Tyneside for the season.
