On the eve of the new Premier League season, NUFC have announced Isaac Hayden has extended his contract until 2026, while Karl Darlow is now contracted to the club until 2025.
As I write this, we’ve had confirmation that NUFC have had a bid of £20m accepted for Callum Wilson. With just the agreement of personal terms, and completion of a medical required before the England international can officially become a Newcastle United player.
In the latest set of rumours circulating the North East, it is reported that Matt Ritchie will be used in a combined player and cash deal for Bournemouth striker, Callum Wilson. If the club do manage to get this deal ‘over the line’ it would mark the end the era for the Scot’s angry, yet wildly entertaining spell in the North East.
